Spiral shaped motion path's
Note that this .aep has been updated on August 29, 2007. It now has a comp in which you can keyframe the percent completion of the spiral.
In this project, I have created a fairly simple expression which generates spiral shaped motion paths. In the project, this expression in applied to the write-on effect's brush position parameter, so you can easily see what these motion paths looks like. The spiral expression allows you to adjust at what time the spiral begins and ends animating at, the inner and outer radii of the spiral, and wheter it is created in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Also included in the .aep are a few other expressions for generating cool looking designs. Here are two quick examples:
